This is a complete set of sterling silver antique toothpicks that were manufactured in Japan from the early 1930's until the late 1960's. This set is in a blue painted wood box with brass hinges. The box is in above-average shape for the age of this item. The toothpicks have custom tops on each one - including a kimono girl, a paper lantern, a paper fan, a Buddha, a traditional home, a Nori gate, a tea kettle, and a pagoda. The box is lined with navyblue felt. Each toothpick measures approximately 3 inches long and are made to look like bamboo stems.
