This is a complete set of sterling silver antique toothpicks that were manufactured in Japan from the early 1930's until the late 1960's. This set is in a wood box with brass hinges and covered with black faux alligator. The box is in average to above average shape due to the age of this item. The toothpicks have custom tops on each one - including a water pail, a kimono girl, a paper lantern, a paper fan, a Buddha, a traditional home, a Nori gate, and a pagoda. The box is lined with blue felt. Each toothpick measures approximately 3 inches long and are made to look like bamboo stems.
