This is a complete set of sterling silver salt spoons that were manufactured in Japan from the early 1930s until the late 1960s. This set is in a wood box with brass hinges and covered with a light green faux alligator cover. The box is in above average shape considering the age of this item. The forks have custom tops on each one - including a Buddha, a house, a small boy, a paper lantern, a coin, and a lantern. The box is lined with blue felt. Each fork measures approximately 7 1/2 inches long and they are made to look like Bamboo stems.
